What is IDShield?
IDShield provides the 360-degree protection needed in today's world. IDShield provides device protection, online parental controls and reputation management services for social media platforms including TikTok. In addition to financial account, credit and identity monitoring, IDShield also provides full-service restoration services. In the event of identity theft, a dedicated licensed private investigator will restore a participant's identity, on their behalf, to its pre-theft status.
IDShield is a product of Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (“PPLSI”). IDShield plans are available at individual or family rates. For complete terms, coverage and conditions, please see an identity theft plan. All Licensed Private Investigators are licensed in the state of Oklahoma. An Identity Fraud Reimbursement Plan (“Plan”) is issued through a nationally recognized carrier. PPLSI is not an insurance carrier. This covers certain identity fraud expense reimbursement and legal costs as a result of a covered identity fraud. The amount of coverage is dependent on the type of identity theft plan. How does this app work?
Participants can add in their information for monitoring including financial and social media accounts. If a threat is detected, they will receive an alert. Participants can also track their credit score, safely access the web and scan their social media accounts for content that could be damaging to their reputation.
In the event of identity theft, a dedicated Licensed Private Investigator will be assigned, creating a 1:1 relationship, and will restore their identity to its pre-theft status.
